Nip, Knead and Nibble

July seems to be a month of celebrations, festivities, homecomings and farewells. Usually what that means is that there’ll be a feast! An ongoing, perpetual feast for this month particularly. Dinner parties, tea parties and lazy weekend lunches… It’s a dinner party at ours last night and we made homemade pizzas and chicken wings. Decked […]

2 days before Christmas in London

London is famous for its museums, fortunately the Natural History Museum is free for entry. We spent a good 3 hours exploring the different halls from mammals to dinosaurs to planets and the earth beyond. Massive re-constructed bone structures and life-size replicas filled the museum, knowledge oozed from every corner and inquisitive minds got their […]

Camporama ’09 was a blast!

More than 6 months of planning, weeks of meetings, hours in prayer and footprints of faith is what it took to make Camporama 2009 a reality. 10-12 churches and 700 people from all over Malaysia participated in this awesome experience. Discovery Rangers in the teeny little town called Taiping

I’d be the first to jump at an invitation to visit a zoo if I was traveling in another elsewhere. I’ve been to several in Aussie, one in Central Park, NYC and another in Singapore. Ironically, at the mention of Zoo Negara, I can’t help but cringe and pass on the offer. Sadly my past […]

We got cow spots!

I remember a conversation Sarah and Terence had a long time ago on MSN. Sarah: Eh, Ter choose one. Cow spots or zebra stripes? Terence: What are you talking about? Sarah: Just choose one! Terence: Cow spots. The conversation was left hanging and Sarah went offline. When Terence told me about the weird chat he […]
